BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
Mono has made a name for itself over the years as an excellent and relaxed space to eat, drink and catch live music. Our food and drink has been, and always will be, proudly vegan and we love sharing it with everybody who comes through the door.
We’ve always run Mono as not-for-profit. Any surplus we make goes straight back into Mono, developing the space and the people who work with us. This year we were able to take the fairly large leap into operating as a Community Interest Company. This fundamentally reflects our ethos and demonstrates our commitment to investing in the future of Glasgow’s vegan and music communities.
Our Goals
As a CIC, we remain committed to reinvesting all of our surplus back into the business and continuing our key goals:
Provide an animal cruelty free and environmentally conscious set of spaces
We are committed to promoting veganism through creating a welcoming and open environment for all where vegans, those who follow other meat free diets and non-vegans alike can enjoy our spaces, activities and produce.
Provide an accessible platform for new, recently established and developing artists
By doing so, we will work within the critical talent research & development role that grassroots and small capacity venues naturally fall into, allowing new and emerging artists to find their voices and gain reputation as they grow and evolve through the industry.
Create space to allow the music & arts community to engage with each other, gain inspiration and potentially form collaborations
Champion our approach to creating a safe and accessible environment for marginalised communities with an integrated safer space policy throughout our structure founded on mutual respect for everybody in the space
WHEN YOU ALIGN WITH MONO
You, your clients and your staff will gain access to a range of benefits, alongside a heap of positive PR and visibility while supporting Glasgow’s independent music and food & drink scene.
In 2023…
over 8000 people came to one of our events
we catered for around 30000 diners
and this is before we talk about everybody who is in for a drink, pastry and catch up with friends and family
Despite these successes, the current landscape for spaces like ours is bleak. To continue nourishing hungry ears, thirsty mouths and rumbling stomachs we need support from a select group of forward-thinking partners
As a corporate sponsor, you will…
help support our continuing mission to provide an open minded, progressive vegan space
be seen to support one of Glasgow’s forefront venues when it comes to promoting safety, diversity and fair work
be recognised on our website and on our premises as a sponsor
benefit from free tickets across the year for you, your staff or your clients to our events
receive discounts to hiring our 300 capacity venue space for events
gain access to a fully curated event at Mono once a year
