A Project Ability exhibition at Mono

Covered is an exhibition of album cover artwork made by artists working across Project Ability’s different studio programmes. Project Ability is a support studio and gallery for artists with learning disabilities and lived experience of mental ill health. We are located in Trongate 103, just around the corner from Mono. Our gallery and shop are open Wednesday-Saturday 11-5.

The Covered artworks are inspired by each individual artist and their favourite musicians, bands and album cover art. From Elvis Presley to Cate Le Bon - Fleetwood Mac to Cowboy Carter, there is an album cover here for every music lover’s taste. Most of the artworks are the size of an LP, painted, drawn or printed on paper and board.

Our artists were so inspired by this idea, we have decided to follow on the album cover theme for our Christmas show this year. So if you like what you see here at Mono please come by our gallery in November and December to see even more.
